The Pier View Suites lobby (1st floor) and office (2nd floor) are open daily from 9:30 AM until 6:00 PM. Our staff is on-call 24 hours.
Rates (plus tax) for the California Suite (330), and the Urban Suite (331) are based on a maximum of 2 occupancy including children/infants. The number of suite guests staying overnight cannot exceed the maximum capacity stated in the “Accommodations” tool bar due to the San Luis Obispo County Fire Code. Pets are not allowed in the California Suite or the Urban Suite.

Pets are not allowed in the Chateau Suite or the Orient Suite, see “Pet Policy” below.
Rates (plus tax) for the Executive Suite (220) are based on total occupancy of 1-5 guests including children/infants. $60 per night per person is charged for guests exceeding 5 for all nights during the reservation period. The number of suite guests staying overnight cannot exceed the maximum capacity stated in the “Accommodations” tool bar due to the San Luis Obispo County Fire Code. The maximum occupancy is 8 guests. Pets are not allowed in the Executive Suite.
The Cayucos Suite (230) is handicap accessible (ADA compliant) and the Cayucos Suite (230), the Cabana Suite (231), and the Executive Suite (220) can each be entered without stairs.
We require a valid VISA, Discover, or MasterCard to confirm any reservation (see Cancellation Policy below). If the credit card provided by the guest is declined for any reason, the guest will be notified and given 24 hours to provide an alternate credit card. If another payment method is not given within 24 hours, the reservation will be cancelled automatically.
Pets are welcome in the Cayucos Suite (230) and Cabana Suite (231) only. Pets are counted as an “occupant”, and can be charged an additional $30 fee per pet per night during the reservation if the number of occupants exceeds 4 in either suite. All pets must be registered at check-in. Failure to register a pet may result in additional fees, suite change if available, or cancellation without a refund.
Licensed service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
Our hotel’s dog parklet is located in our parking lot for your convenience and complimentary treats are available in the lobby. Cayucos Beach is a pet-friendly; a leash is required by law.
While we love all dogs, our insurance prohibits us from welcoming these breeds: Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, German Shepherds, Dobermans.
It is the responsibility of the guest to include ALL adults, children, infants (age 0+), and pets on the registration form at check-in. Failure to disclose the entire number of people or pets may result in additional charges or cancellation of the reservation (see Cancellation Policy below).
For sanitary reasons, we do not offer cribs or pet beds. We do not offer additional roll-away beds.
Our normal beds feature down comforters and pillows. However, we are happy to use non-down/feather hypoallergenic bedding and pillows instead. Please notify us in advance.
Reservations can be made by phone, our website, or internet booking systems such as Booking.com, Kayak.com, etc. Prices vary based on internet booking systems and we cannot apply discounts, promotions, or specials to reservations made by these third parties. Most of our specials and discounts can only apply to phone reservations. All rates are subject to tax.
We offer call-in discounts for all suites with consecutive stays of 3+ and 7+ nights. Not applicable to reservations made online or combined other specials.
Generally, 2 night minimum stay is required for weekends during high season, holidays, and special events.
AAA/Military/Senior rates are the same as our Three Night Discount rates which are offered with any stay of 3+ nights; call only.
CHECK-IN is begins at 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM depending on availability. If your suite is ready early, you may check-in any time after 1:00 PM. Our office usually closes at 6:00 PM. Late arrivals after 6:00 PM are not a problem, just let us know in advance to arrange check-in procedures.
CHECK-OUT is 11:00 AM. Late check out of 11:30 AM are possible upon request, but are not guaranteed. If you or your belongings remain in the suite long after the designated check-out time, you may be billed for an additional night. Our office and lobby open at 9:30 AM; if we miss you at check-out, please lock they keys in your suite.
KEYS: Upon check-out, please leave keys at our lobby, office, or lock them in your suite when you depart. If keys are lost or taken after check-out, your credit card will be charged a re-keying fee.
A valid Visa, Discover, or Mastercard is required to secure any reservation. Our hotel currently does not accept American Express.
For single night reservations, 100% of the total price is billed on the day of booking. For multiple night reservations, 50% of the total price is billed on the day of booking. The cancellation policy goes into effect immediately on the day that the reservation is made. Cancellation deposits cannot be credited toward alternate dates or reservations.
Advanced-Notice Cancellations: If you cancel any or all nights of your reservation, we set your suite as a priority for us to re-book. For any nights canceled or reduced thereafter that are re-booked, the original credit card will be refunded for the respective deposit per night for free. For any nights that not re-booked, the credit card charge is forfeited.
Late-Notice Cancellations: Guests will be charged 100% of the full price if the reservation is cancelled less than 1 day before arrival.
After-Hour check-ins: If the guest has arranged an after-hour arrival time, 100% of the total amount will be billed on the day of the reservation. Guests can then register at check-in the following morning anytime after our office and lobby re-open. If we are not notified of an expected late arrival time, and we are unable to contact the guest on the night of the reservation, the late check-in procedure and instructions will be emailed to the guest.
No-shows: If a guest does not cancel their reservation and does not show up, 100% of the total price is forfeited.
Modifications: Date or suite changes to existing reservations may be subject to a processing fee.
Same-Day Bookings: We require 100% of the total price for reservations made for same-day arrivals which are non-refundable.
Unregistered Guests: Please call us immediately if your reservation confirmation email lists an incorrect number of guests or pets. In the event that a guest arrives with an unexpected number of additional adults/children/infants that outweigh the suite’s maximum occupancy, the guest will be offered to switch to a larger suite with respective rate modifications. If there are no larger suites available to accommodate the additional number of guests, the reservation is terminated as a Late-Notice Cancellation and 100% of the total price is forfeited. Failure to disclose/register additional guests may result in cancellation without a refund.
Unregistered Pets: Please call us immediately if your reservation confirmation email lists an incorrect number of pets. In the event that a guest arrives with unexpected pets in a non-pet friendly suite, the guest will be offered to switch to a pet-friendly suite with respective rate modifications if the new suite is larger. If there no pet-friendly suites available to accommodate the pets, the reservation is terminated as a Late-Notice Cancellation and 100% of the total price is forfeited. We are not able to welcome pets in any suites other than #230 and #231. Failure to disclose/register pets may result in cancellation without a refund.
EVENTS & GROUPS: The entire hotel, individual suites, and our garden patio lounge is available for large groups and special events such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate board meetings, reunions, workshop, retreats and professional meetings.
Failure to arrange for unregistered occupants, group events, or any damage to a suite authorizes management to charge the registered guest’s credit card for additional lodging, repair, and/or cleaning costs.
SMOKING POLICY: Each guest suite is non-smoking. Guests are welcome to smoke outside on designated suite balconies: Executive, Chateau, Orient, California, and Urban Suite. The garden patio lounge is also a designated smoking area. Ashtrays are provided. A $500 cleaning charge will be billed to any suite wherein evidence of interior smoking or any other illegal activity has occurred.
PARKING: We are happy to offer our guests complimentary parking in our private parking lot of our hotel which is accessible on E Street. We are not responsible to any damage or theft to your car or personal items. Luggage ramps to the second floor are located on either side of the parking lot. Our staff is happy to assist you with your luggage by request.
ALCOHOL: Please enjoy responsibly and be considerate of other hotel guests. You may purchase wine, beer, and champagne from Top Dog Cafe on the first floor of our hotel and enjoy in our hotel’s garden lounge or in your suite. The Full Moon Wine Bar is located on the second floor of our hotel offering domestic and imported wines with ocean views. Feel free to bring your own liquor to enjoy in your suite as well.
COFFEE & ROOM SERVICE: For your convenience, all suites offer one complimentary packet of ground coffee, sugar, & cream for you to enjoy. A full menu featuring coffee, tea, soft drinks, and smoothies is available in your suite opening at 6:00 AM with the exclusive option of in-suite delivery after 7:30 AM.

FORGOTTEN BELONGINGS: If any personal items are left behind in your suite after check-out, we can arrange to mail them to you for a $20.00 shipping and processing fee.
QUIET HOURS: To ensure a peaceful nighttime atmosphere for all guests, only registered hotel guests are allowed in suites or on hotel premises after 10:00 PM. Please be considerate of others.
AFTER-HOURS: Our lobby and office are closed from 6:00 PM to 9:30 AM but we are nearby on-site and happy to assist you 24/7. In addition to our normal business-hour phone number 1.805.995.0014, a 24-hour number will be provided for registered guests for after-hour emergencies.
Inappropriate behavior may result in removal from premises without a refund.
All rates and prices are subject to the San Luis Obispo County 12% occupancy tax with the exception of extended stays of 30+ nights.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
